A Separation Planning Meeting: The second step on your Separation Pathway

Once both of you have completed the intake process, you can will receive an email allowing you to book your Separation Planning Meeting.

This step consists of 30-minute individual meetings with a mediator, followed by a 1-hour joint meeting.  These sessions are at a fixed cost with a Family Professional who seems most appropriate for addressing your issues. The focus is on understanding the issues you and your partner want to address, helping you prepare the necessary information to minimize the cost of expensive professional time, and assisting you in deciding on the dispute resolution method that is likely to be successful for you and your partner.

The Separation Planning Meeting is also an opportunity for you to take the mediator for a test drive. After the meeting, you will receive your personalized separation plan which highlights the best mediation package for you, the documents you will need to gather, and any referrals as needed.
